AAT 72F - THE WORLD'S FIRST ELECTRIC TRACTOR

A series field DC motor powers the AAT 72F electric tractor produced by Mr. Anil Ananthakrishna of AA Technologies Inc. Quick change capability allows the lead acid traction battery pack to be exchanged within minutes, to enable continuous operation of the tractor.

Recent studies have shown agricultural farming to be on of the major contributors to the pollution problem of the world. Moreover, the pollution created by agricultural equipment is known to directly effect the quality of food, giving rise to a great number of hazards to health. The AAT 72F is a first major step towards AAT's goal of developing and producing pollution-free machinery for agriculture .
