AAT CAT-EV1

The AAT CAT-EV1 is a multipurpose electric vehicle, which incorporates an advanced electric vehicle design with range extender and battery quick-change capability. The sturdy frame chassis combines proven latest state-of-the-art suspension technology with a low center of gravity placement of the main battery pack between the axles, resulting in excellent handling characteristics.
 

The removable rear roof portion of the sleek polyester body allows the vehicle to be used as a pickup, station wagon, or recreational vehicle with seating for up to five passengers. The rear seats can be folded forward or removed completely to cater for maximum loading space. For commercial use, the vehicle is available without rear windows and a side-opening tail gait. Servo-assisted brakes, electric windows, and Eberspaecher Heater with optional timer add to driving comfort.

Both main and range extender battery packs can be exchanged within minutes, overcoming the problem of limited range in commercial city operation. A fully automatic lightweight high-frequency charger is provided, which allows recharging from any wall outlet.
